Description
Magnesiuim Oxide provides a good source of dietary magnesium which is required for normal nerve, muscle and cell function. The magnesium is highly available during digestion. Due to its poor palatability, Magnesium Oxide is normally included in TMR, Minerals, Mineral Buckets, compounds, blends or premixes.
Nutritional Attributes
Magnesium Oxide has the following benefits: Source of magnesium to prevent grass staggers when fed prior to turnout and during periods when lush grass is being fed. Assists in prevention of milk fever with Dry Cows to help maintain anionic / cationic balance (DCAB) and assist in preventing milk fever.
Storage and Handling
Magnesium Oxide is available in 25kg bags. Packed product should be stored in a dry place around 20°C under GMP + FSA conditions and protected against direct sunlight.
