Description
Parm Kernel Expeller is a by-product of Palm oil manufacture from which the majority of hard shell has been removed. The meal is the by-product after the oil has been pressed out of the nut of the palm fruit.
Nutritional Attributes
By-products of oil containing seeds are applied in compound feedstuffs for all animal classes. This product can also be fed directly to animals as singular feedstuff.
Storage and Handling
Palm Kernel should be stored at an ambient cool temperature in dry flat stores (TASCC approved) . No heat should be applied to the products as it can potentially self-ignite given combustible conditions. When handled, PK meal can give off large quantities of dust; in some cases the dust may include contaminants such as bacteria & fungi. Inhalation may cause endotoxin sensitisation of the lungs.
