Description
Sunflower Extractions is a by-product of oil manufacture, obtained by extraction of seeds of the sunflower from which part of the husks has been removed.
Nutritional Attributes
Sunflower Extractions has a good level of protein but can be low in energy due to the high fibre from the hulls of the seed coat. Removing the hulls from the meal results in a better quality product (HiPro) which is higher in protein, lower in fibre resulting in a higher digestibility. A better source of methinoine than soya, but low in lysine.

Material to have been stored in compliance with MAFF Code of Practice for the Control of Salmonella.
